Membership

The Lancaster County Beekeepers Society is made of both long-term and first year members. We normally meet each third Tuesday of the month from March to October. Most meetings are held at the Southeast Agricultural Research and Extension Farm located at 1446 Auction Rd. in Manheim. The meetings cover properly-timed seasonal beekeeping topics with occasional lectures from outside speakers who cover more advanced topics.

Members also enjoy access to a 15 frame radial extractor at no fee, access to a certified kitchen for a nominal fee to bottle salable honey, the ability to sign up to be on our swarm collectors list, and the ability to help tend the club’s hives at the Extension Farm.

The cost to join is $10 for an entire year and includes everyone in the household.
