Our monthly meeting held on the third Tuesday of each month. The first 30 minutes, 6:30-7:00, will be dedicated to discussing your bees and what you should be doing as a beekeeper. The speaker will begin and 7:00.
The speaker will be Vikki Atkinson, president of the Perry Co. beekeepers. She will give us a presentation on her approach to keeping bees. She uses only top bar hives and has had up to 70 at one time. She will also share her varroa mite control practices. She has been treatment free for 10+ years.
